LBC Newsletters

The Heron

The LBC sends all members a monthly newsletter, The Heron. It features news and comment, details of upcoming events, and a round-up of the past month’s bird sightings. The newsletter is available in electronic format only, with a link to the latest edition sent to all members, usually on the last day of the month, although there may occasionally be a slight delay.

The Bird Club welcomes articles and other contributions for the newsletter. To be included in the latest edition, please send your content to info@lincsbirdclub.co.uk at least seven days before the end of the month.

The latest newsletter is emailed to all members on the first day of each month, with a download link to the newest edition.

We are the Lincolnshire Bird Club. Our aims are to encourage and further the interest in the birdlife of the historic County of Lincolnshire; to participate in organised fieldwork activities; to collect and publish information on bird movements, behaviour, distribution and populations; to encourage conservation of the wildlife of the County and to provide sound information on which conservation policies can be based.
