Aye cunning sods are the feral pigeons! One of my seed feeders has large places for birds to perch not quite big enough for a Sea Eagle but the pigeons have got the knack, so armed with my water pistol they get blasted when I see them, in end I took it round front and this week the same pigeon has found it hung on the hypericum, so have took it in wont get it in house. My mate told me yesterday he has noticed the blackbirds have started feeding from his seed feeders, he asked if mine had done it, told him no.

The pigeons think they will get better of me, WRONG!!

Our pigeons have now discovered how to hang onto the fat logs to feed, also they are getting onto the sunflower feeders. In the evening a crow comes down and pinches the food we put out for the foxes. It is a losing battle !

April 30th:
pair Great Tit in and out the nest box, be it same pair as last year that used it and brought 3 juvs to adulthood am not sure, but fingers crossed for this pair. Not seen the Magpie pair today but they were active yesterday. The Goldfinches have now decided the front garden is where the food is and they don't seem to be crossing the spuggies path. Not seen the Wood Pigeon pair but a pair of C Doves returned. Sadly two Feral Pigs have now found the feeders in front garden I keep shooing them away.

April 22nd; got a single Greenfinch on niger feeder, two Goldfinches on sfh feeder at front, 2 pair Blackbird (one at back and other at front), plus pair magpie and c30 spuggys.
