Aug 4th: 14.15 a female Sparrowhawk landed on varigated holly 20' from kitchen window with a small feather in its beak, must have had lunch somewhere, the holly is only 4' high and the bird was looking down and to the side of it, the sparrows normally fly in there when trouble arrives but that day nowt was about, of course camera was in other room, took chance and fetched it but it must have seen me in lounge and flew off, it was a cracking bird.
Aug 5th: Coal Tit on feeder as was Great and Blue Tit, juv Starling and an adult Sparrow feeding a juv in privet + robin.

July 9th: counted 24 spuggies in front garden fighting over who has bath first, with eight dishes of water there was no need to squabble but if had one hundred dishes they would still be at it lol.
July 10th: Sprawk over school.
July 16th: a Robin and a Greenfinch popped in for drink at back.
July 19th*: I was ordered to stay in again with all blinds and windows closed so didn't see much. After tea spotted some Spuggies, Goldfinches and Greenfinch taking a drink at back but they didn't seem keen, I realised the water must be close to boiling point, and they were all holding their beaks open (not damn surprised) so I filled two jugs and risked going out , bloody hell soon as I opened the french door the blast hit me like opening an oven door at 230 degrees, emptied bother water dishes and put fresh in and darted back in and waited at window for them to return, they didn't.
