Today at 12.15 was in front garden filling feeders when I heard honking so looked up and saw large V shape high over c200 Pink Feet going North, probably due to mild weather. Made my day!

At 13:45 while watching the Blackbird's in the cherry and Hawthorn trees spotted some birds in the distance high up coming from North, at first thought they were pfg but as they came over and much lower could clearly see they were Whooper Swans counted fifteen going South hopefully to BB, this is a garden tick!

PM watching:

Whooper Swans - 15
House Sparrow - 27 in front garden hammering away at the fat balls, suet pellets and logs.
Goldfinch - 3 on niger feeder
Wood Pigeon - 5 in cherry and hawthorn trees
Blackbird - 4 same as the pigeons
Blue Tit - 2 sparring with the spuggies
Great Tit - 2 on fat balls
Jackdaw - 4 having fun high up and having a good old chat.
Magpie - 1  on one of the hawthorns, probably looking at antics of the others.

Brilliant day all round.

JT aka Max  :)
