Pete
We had our first frost of the year this morning and our first 7 House Sparrows into our Caistor garden, they only seem to come in during colder weather lately. No idea why that should be though.

After an enforced lay off of six weeks and next to no views of any birds it was nice to draw the curtains and see what there was, as the feeders were still empty not a lot was seen:
Goldcrest was seen first on the cherry tree, made my day.
Crow - 2 on conifer
Blackbird - 2m having some apples i had thrown out.
Blue Tit - 2
Great Tit - 2
Goldfinch - 4
Chaffinch - 3
Magpie - 1 top of conifer
Spuggies - 8
Regards
John
