This afternoon spotted 3 Swift and tonight at 21.00 while stood at back bedroom window saw the adult Collared Dove suddenly leave nest which is only ten feet from window fly next door in a huffle, glanced back at nest and a male Sparrowhawk was there, it took a very young chick and flew off, feel for the adult dove cos one or other been on nest two weeks, Sparrowhawk come for supper.

June 1st: Robin - 1 Juvenile
June 9th: Dunnock - 1 Juvenile, Spuggie - 2 Juvenile, Blackbird - 1 Juvenile and Collared Dove on nest in Cherry tree, nest visible.
June 11th: Wood Pigeon nest in privet hedge.
June 15th: Blue Tit - 2 adults+ 1 Juvenile.
June 16th: Dunnock juvenile on suet pellet feeder, never seen a Dunnock on any feeders!
June 19th: Wood Pigeon building another nest in next doors tree.

At 20.30 tonight had my first Swift of year, three were hawking over house, made my weekend.

Greenfinch - 2
Great Tit - 2 + 2 juvs all feeding separately
Goldfinch - 4 + 2 juvs same as above
Blackbird - 1 pair
Blue Tit - 1
Dunnock - 1
Spuggies
Starling - 4 + 3 juvs being fed
Magpie - 1 preening in hawthorn
Feral Pigeon - 1

Today spotted two adult Great Tit feeding two juvs possibly more. Later juv had a bath . Also seven Goldfinch and one juv the latter wasn't being fed.

May 8th:
Sparrowhawk - 1 male
Robin - 1 juvenile. saw it catch a worm
Collared Dove - 2 adults and 2 juvs in nest which I found today, very hard to spot, it was resting where the cherry met the lilac.
Goldcrest - 1 in conifer.
Blackbird - 1 male having some Gala apple, mine don't like Granny Smith probably same reason I don't, tasteless.
Common Gull - 2
Jackdaw - 1
Goldfinch - 2
Blue Tit - 1 not seen any for ages.

Excellent day. Had an hour in garden PM that's when the Robin and Goldcrest spotted while I hid behind a laurel shrub![:) :)]()
