Drawing curtains at 10.40 today saw tell tale signs that Missus Sparrowhawk had visited front garden, there was pigeon feathers to cobble dogs with and little else, where it happened was right next to the water dishes so she could have had a drink to wash it down.

While sat in garden three Magpie chattering, a Collared Dove returned as did a Wood Pigeon, the Goldfinch slowly increasing to 21, three Greenfinches, two Great Tit, four Jackdaw, loads of Spuggies, one Blue Tit and one Common Gull.
The Goldfinch is such a pretty bird but also has a messy nest and is a messy eater, no one is perfect!

Oh great stuff, have got a Whitebeam but unable to see much of it as it is shielded by the rowan and high lilacs.

Funnily enough, I saw a goldfinch doing something similar yesterday - but I think the berries were whitebeam.
