Had an hour this afternoon, 4 till 5. Nothing much:
9 Mute
10 Tufted
8 Teal
1 Heron
6 Egret
4 Dabchick
2 deer in field and 1 on island directly in front of hide. Approx 40 Goldies/Linnets on the seed heads up and down the path, 1 Buzzard over the farm wood near the car park and a Pheasant spooked by me at the first path gate. 15 cattle counted.
Water levels very low. It would appear the recent rain has not made an impact. See photos attached.

I believe that the pump(s) that can be used to fill the lagoon from the neighbouring drain are being repaired / serviced during tomorrow.

Jon

I popped by at 10am today Jon, but only went as far as the first cattle crossing gate. From there, the first visible scrapes only had a bit of a puddle in them, and certainly no birds. Could only see 14 cattle by the way, but maybe 1 was hidden

Would like to think that the recent heavy rain has caused the water levels to rise on site. Not had a chance to visit due to work and unfortunately, probably won't be able to until the weekend.

Jon

Should be higher water levels after yesterday’s rainfall
