Yaddlethorpe ( TH): warm and sunny

Swallow - 1
Wood Pigeon - 40
Swift - 8
House Martin - 9
Collared Dove - 1
Sparrowhawk - 1
Common Gull - 4
Also spoke to a Staffie called Arthur & a German Shepherd called Saxon and their owners.
Really enjoyable afternoon.

Tuetoes: Hot
House Martin - 25

Crow - 50
East Ferry: Hot and no shelter
Rook - c200 most had beaks open
Gulls - c600 comprising of adults and juvs of mostly Common Gull, Black-headed Gull, Herring Gull & LBB Gulls
Feral Pigeons - 20
Wood Pigeon - 10
All the above were on same land that was bare or had recently been combined.
Mallard - 1 pair in stream.
Scotton Reserve: Hot
Buzzard on pylon
Starling - 5 on pylon above.
Also heard a bird call as yet no idea what it is, sounded similar to dove.
Nebraska Wetlands: hot with next to know shelter so no counts for water birds bar two.

Greylags
Swallow - 1
Mallards
Tufted Ducks
Lapwings
Little Grebe - 1 + 1 juv being fed.
Mute Swan - 2 + 3 cygnets.
Coots
Despite the heat enjoyed it especially the amount of butterflies.

After reading latest Lapwings mag decided to visit a reserve have not been to for seventeen years:
