John,
Chris selects the Sightings from information on the Forum and mostly from other sources.  He is a volunteer and I have not known him to show bias against or for individuals or sites.  Your entries are read by those who chose to read them and I think your comment on the old boys network is not justified.  Keep submitting your observations on this Forum and don't worry if they don't appear elsewhere

Well bugger me riley have not got a mention on latest news for my Cattle Egret and this time am not mistaken!! I expected at least six mentions for my sightings at Nebraska Wetlands on the 11th but sod all, there is far too much favourtism for certain sites like Boutham Mere to name but one. Some sites have a mention for one Cattle Egret, I got sod all, another site got a mention for just Redwing and Fieldfare, no more than I got, and again I got sod all, Some get a mention for pink feet geese , I got sod all, some get amention for five Whooper, I had 29 did I get a mention of course not. I obviously don't belong the old boys network!!

Am beginning to wonder why I left a sum of money in my will to the club, but that can be changed.

Am I annoyed of course not am just saying that Nebraska Wetlands seems to be out of bounds for a mention.

Here endeth the first lesson!

Max
PS: just taken photos of the sightings for the 11th just in case am told am wrong again, I now have proof am not.

In the past I've seen a kestrel take a blackbird so it always surprises me to see passerines sitting alongside a potential predator. At the weekend, I saw a group of six reed buntings sharing the same bush as a kestrel.
