At Tuetoes had a driver who was angry at where I'd parked, he shouted something out window so I approached and said what's up with you, (because I had my hood up with baseball cap poking out I must have looked like a scallywag) when he saw me he backed down saying sorry, I leant in window past his missus and said to them both 'never judge a book by it's cover' after that he was okay and so was I.

Had a cracking day again!

Cheers

The day started well with Sprawk over house.  Decided to visit only one site on my local patch the one that has been most productive this year!

Farmers Lane - Brumby Common West:  12.15 - 15.30  sunny and cool.

Little Egret - 2  (one at each end of lane and got pics and video of one in dyke)
Feral Pigeon - c700 ( two groups of 500 & 200, managed to get video of both groups passing at same time lovely spectacle)
Fieldfare - 11
Reed Bunting - 6
Common Gull - 24
Linnet - 200  ( got video of them going from one field of corn to another, lovely)
Buzzard - 4  ( saw one flying very low over the 200 pigeons and it got one and dropped to ground and stayed there thirty minutes)
Yellowhammer - 14
Long-tailed Tit - 9
Goldfinch - 50
Starling - 100
Robin - 4
Blackbird - 7
Jackdaw - 69
Jay
Magpie - 11
Crows
Sparrowhawk - 2
 Chaffinch - 9

Just over the bridge where I normally park there was a small container (canteen & toilet) and in the field a Hymac/JCB guarded by security fence etc, in that field and next one going west were 3' high steel posts with red/white tape on top ( will post photo later) not sure what is going on but will keep eyes open.  Also just before bridge some git had fly tipped a load of branches etc in parking area, normally can get a few cars there but today only me.

Very enjoyable but also worrying till I find out what the digger is up to!

Cheers

John  :)
