Well pleased today at one particular sighting, spotted it in pond having a bath, grabbed camera and aimed, took one pic and tried to do video before camera had finished taking still, so only managed a one second video but still brill! Than one pic and it was away down garden, this species has been coming last six years and always towards end of January up to end of February. Oh nearly forgot to say it was a GOLDCREST will post the pic when phone charged up.  This really made my day as did most of sightings when I visited local patch later.

Isn't it good to be alive!!

John :)

Jan 22nd:

Goldfinch - 18
Spuggies - 30
Starling - 9
Feral Pigeon - 19
Wood Pigeon
Robin
Blue Tit - 4
Greenfinch - 4
Common Gull
Magpie
Great Tit - 2
Chaffinch - 4
Blackbird - 5
Found a dead Great Tit beneath lounge window.  Pair of Blue Tit chasing each other and checking out one of the nest boxes, actually it's the same one that a pair of Great Tit have used last two years each time bring up a brood.

Last two days no seed in any feeder due to me fed up with feral pigs being a nuisance!!  Fat balls and nut feeders plenty in though.

Considering very little food out other than fat balls, apples and three feeders with sfh at front due to too many feral pigeons being a pest had a few regulars:

Goldfinches, Dunnock, Robin, Blackbirds, Magpie's, Great & Blue Tits, Chaffinches, Jackdaws, Starlings, Common Gull, Feral Pigeons & 20 Spuggies.
