Hi Chris,

Noticed on Latest News you have made a typo with the Merlin and Tree Sparrow amounts, the comma is in wrong place. I would have loved to have seen two Merlin but well pleased to have seen one and two Tree Sparrow.

Regards

John

Called at Black Bank yesterday (21st) in hope I may see Tree Creeper but didn't. Did see Kestrel - 2 and Fieldfare - c50 could have seen more but only stayed 30 mins, I'd gone specifically to take the thrushes some apples and something for the mammals, a sort of Xmas Present that they wouldn't be expecting, BTW I didn't wear a red coat and sport a white beard :)

Cleatham - Kestrel.
MSQ near entrance   Kestrel.

Nebraska Wetlands:  14.30 - 15.25  plenty of water, sunny.

Blue Tit
Mute Swan - 2
Shoveler - 9
Mallard - 41
Shelduck - 2
Gadwall - 3
Wigeon - 31
Teal - 16
Blackbird - 3
Magpie - 2
Collared Dove - 2
Disappointing no waders, maybe they had left, maybe not. Think in winter mornings would prove better.

That's me done till Boxing Day.

Cheers

Max
