Visited the site today (14:30 - 15:30). This was my first visit to the site since 14th March - just before the "Lock down" came into play. The water levels are a lot lower than during my previous visit, but the vegetation has grown significantly! Despite a fairly strong WNW wind blowing there were quite a few species of bird to be seen:
Avocet (15) - all on the islands in the lagoon
Black-headed Gull (4) - all on the islands in the lagoon
Buzzard (1) - soaring above the Lenzing factory
Canada Goose (2) - on area H
Carrion Crow
Coot (2) - on the lagoon
Cormorant (2) - on the lagoon
Great Black-backed Gull (1) - on area H
Greylag Goose (54) - on area H
Herring Gull ((5) - on area H
Lapwing (1) - on area B
Lesser Black-back Gull (25) - on the lagoon
Linnet (1) - along Long Path
Little Ringed Plover (1) - on area J
Magpie
Mallard (2) - on area G
Mute Swan (1) - on the lagoon
Oystercatcher (2) - nesting on island in lagoon
Pheasant
Pied Wagtail (1) - on lagoon bank
Red Kite (1) - as I was leaving the hide, the Shelduck and Avocets took flight. Looking up, I was expecting to see a Buzzard or Peregrine, but no, a Red Kite drifted in low off the Humber, flew over the Field Scrapes and Lagoon before gaining height and departing towards Healing!
Ringed Plover (3) - all on island in the lagoon
Shelduck (17) - 16 on area C and 1 on area G
Skylark (2) - over Field Scrapes
Swallow - several over the site
Woodpigeon
Yellowhammer (1) - along Long Path
All recorded in BirdTrack.
Stay safe everyone.

First visit since lockdown so was not sure what to expect but pleasantly surprised. Water levels on scrapes is low but reasonable on the lagoon. Vegetation is getting tall but hopefully the imminent arrival on site of the cattle should help that.
