Have got hover flies (expect to see lots when fennel in flower fingers crossed) and bees on hypericums and buddleias. Am hoping to visit two local sites tomorrow if ok.

We've got Mint, Marjoram, Privet and Sage all in flower, and apart from low numbers of butterflies, there are very few bees and hoverflies this year.

Maybe low compared with other years John but very good for this year.
I have a flowering privet, upwards of two dozen buddleias, lots of wild flowers and numerous annuals etc and have not seen a butterfly in weeks, very sad, think the Ringlet was last one I saw and it was on the crab apple.
Our world has changed and it won't ever recover, damage has been done and no goodwill from powers that be will change it, too little to late.

We've had Red Admiral and Speckled Wood today, and female Common Blue and Wool Carder Bee yesterday. Considering it's warm and sunny not much else.
