Great-black Backed Gull    11 - all on one of the islands in the lagoon
Herring Gull    80 - all on one of the islands in the lagoon
Little Grebe    2 - on the lagoon
Magpie    1
Mallard    4 - on one of the islands in the lagoon
Mute Swan    4 - all on the lagoon
Pheasant    1
Pied Wagtail    2
Pochard    1 - in a flock of Tufted Ducks on the lagoon
Reed Bunting    1 - in Hawthorn bush along the main path
Shoveler    3 - on the lagoon
Starling    2
Stock Dove    12 - all feeding on one of the islands in the lagoon
Teal    257 - on the "Field" scrape area (165) and on lagoon (92)
Tufted Duck    7 - on the lagoon
Wigeon    66 - on the "Field" scrape area (45) and on lagoon (21)

Roe Deer    4 - feeding on the "Pylon" scrapes area of the site.

Weather: Sun, cold, very strong SW wind
Time on site: 10:50 - 13:10

The first visit of 2022 found the following species present of site:

Buzzard    1 - feeding in the field behind the site
Canada Goose    1 - single bird on the "Field" scrapes
Carrion Crow    4
Cormorant    3 - all on one of the islands in the lagoon
Gadwall    69 - all on the lagoon
Great-black Backed Gull    20 - all on one of the islands in the lagoon
Green Sandpiper    1 - feeding around scrapes in the "Field" scrapes area of the site
Greylag Goose    13 - skein dropped on to the "Field" scrapes
Herring Gull    10 - all on one of the islands in the lagoon
Lapwing    12 - five birds on the ploughed field adjacent to the site path and seven birds on the "Field" scrapes
Little Egret    2
Little Grebe    2 - both on the lagoon
Magpie    1
Mallard    3 - all on the lagoon
Meadow Pipit    2 - seen on the "Field" Scrapes
Mute Swan    11 - all on the lagoon
Pied Wagtail    2
Reed Bunting    1 - sat on fence post next to the main path to the hide
Shoveler    2 - both on the lagoon

Stock Dove    2 - on one of the islands in the lagoon
Teal    154 - all birds were on the "Field" scrapes

Roe Deer    4 - seen sheltering from the wind against a bank, at the edge of the "Pylon" scrape area of site.
