May 4th: juv Blackbird still alive.
May 7th: Sprawk overhead and very low Black-headed Gull.
May 10th: dead juv Starling (wasn't much left).
May 11th: two Magpie are now residing in or close by. juv Blackbird.
May 17th: Sprawk overhead.
May 18th: I'd thrown some scraps on garage roof, normally they are collared by the common gulls, today was exceptional due to 13 Black-headed Gull and only 1 Common Gull, the latter didn't get a look in lol.
Each day there are about a dozen Spuggy's hammering away at the fat balls then flying to assume their young, the two pair of Wood Pigeon are hoovering up under the feeders, only getting 2 or 3 ferals (they will be back with their young then the total will be 27 + , there is also a pair of C Dove and that's it. I've recently hung the DY niger feeder out but nowt using it. Also got seed and nuts out but nowt taking that.
Cheers

May 1st: got a surprise when I spotted a juv Blackbird perched on me bench seat in front garden (plenty of cover) wow that's early! Knew two pair had nests in front, one in ivy and other in privet hedge think juv was in the ivy nest, had seen a adult back and forth past week or so. Dad was feeding it last week with scraps and some raspberry doughnuts which didn't last long once the spuggies spotted them. Hope the juv survives! Later that evening spotted what looked like a dead and headless juv pigeon below the conifer, a pair of wood pigeon had a nest there, these past days spotted a pair of magpie so more than likely they did it.
Cheers
