Okay, that seemed to work without too much trouble. The images are quite a nice size now, which is good. Colin, note that the link in your original posting is now broken - you may want to fix that?
Are you intending to have separate galleries for mammals, butterflies, etc.? I have lots of Lincs butterfly shots too ;)
Best wishes, Nigel.

Hi Nige and Nigel
I have added a gallery for you both to upload too
and added links to the main menu

If you go to sightings you will see some new sub-menu items,
Public Gallery - Shows the last 20 images uploaded to all visitors
Members Gallery - show our galleries
Gallery upload - is where you can upload your images.
The system re-sizes the images but try not to upload huge files

Thanks to both of you for helping

Russell Hayes has found one issue which is when putting up lots of images, the pagination numbers do not work, but if you select all from the drop down you can see them.
I am working on this

Hi Colin

This post has not had many views, perhaps post it on the main page for a better response.
Just a thought
Russell
