In a gusting wind, a juvenile whinchat was facing  some balancing challenges on scrubland behind Grimsby Town's Blundell Park ground at 9.45am today.

Sightings at the nearby rock armour on Cleethorpes North Prom included nine common terns and a sanderling.

Starlings and shorebirds were also conspicuous on the seafront.
