Had to use two magnifying glasses to pick it out I think, looks to be on the left side of tree just a whisker below the dead part on the alive part, am I right or wrong or do i need another look? ;)

Unfortunately, my visit coincided with happy hour for dog walkers, so the bird waited things out from beyond.

However, I did manage to get an excellent shot of a tiny speck (the wryneck) on a dead tree.

When it comes to seeing wrynecks , over the years I've mostly been well and truly 'jynx'ed.

(Don't bother to open the photo attachment unless you have a magnifying glass at hand.)
