No, I have tried to find out which body co-funded this project with public money as I think it is wrong that it is still locked. I am aware the farmer got a grant towards the project and I feel it is probably part of the condition that it remains open to the public. I have contacted Kirton Town Council but they could not help as if I find out I intend to contact the co-funders.

Anybody know if the gate is going to be unlocked at some time in the future so that we can use the hide?
