The Forum is pretty moribund and the Ringing Section is even worse.  I have decided to solely contribute to this Section to see if it generates any response/interest - only time will tell!

This morning I went to a garden site I have been ringing at since 2003.  I put two nets up beside two feeders and they were open for 3 hours.  I caught 15 species considting of 48 new birds and re-trapped 8 others.  The highlights were an adult female Kestrel, 2 Treecreepers, 8 Dunnocks and 16 Blue Tits.  I also caught a partially leucistic House Sparrow with quite a lot of white primary and secondary feathers which threw me for a minute!

Any comments would be welcome
