Well as yet no reply, must be on xmas hols :)

Another question or two that will most likely go unanswered :)

Looking at the members profiles page - it says STATUS and under it says AWAY what does that mean?
Also what does KARMA mean on here ( know what it means in life)?
What does the HITS represent? Does that mean how many times we have viewed a post?

Just noticed the drop-down menu (where is my glasses LOL) and by crikey we are getting back to the old style forum YIPPEE!!!!!

PS: not keen on the emoticons either, the old ones were far easier to see. I sound like a moaning old sod on reading this back, my excuse is that I was ill Xmas/Boxing Days with the lergy :(

Toodle loo

JTG

PPS: HAPPY NEW YEAR TO MY FRIENDS ON HERE, YOU THREE KNOW WHO YOU ARE LOL
Last edit: 28 Dec 2017 17:44 by John T Goy. Reason: Found out I'd missed the drop down menu which contains most of what I was complaining about.

Been looking for where and how we send a PM but cannot find it.

I've only been on here twice and I know its early days but this site isn't a patch on the old one for me anyway. I know its a well used cliche but if it isn't broken don't mend it, or replace it with what the admin team think is better. I know the old forum wasn't secure but the way it was set out and real easy to find all the sections was far better than this one is.

When Andy ran the old forum it was better than this one at the moment, everything had a place and from the very start it was easy to find, I certainly don't find this to be, unless it's because I'm much older and finding things harder to grasp.

Maybe in a few months time I'll get the hang of it and maybe I won't.

Kind regards

Max
