Will you be posting a trip list? We had a fortnight there last year at roughly the same time and it was hard work compared to previous years and we struggled to get some species, just 1 Crested Tit in 2 weeks even though we went to some well known sites for them.

Bad luck, we have seen them there at the same time of year as your visit BUT they are difficult to find and generally favour the far shore.

Perhaps, we were  too early for them!

No black-throated divers were to be seen at Lochindorb during Monday's hour-long visit by a party from Lincolnshire Bird Club.

They might have been elsewhere on the water, though Terry Whalin's theory was that the birds might  not yet have returned from their winter sojourn at sea.

The most conspicuous birds on site were goldeneye, mallard, red grouse, wheatears and meadow pipits, but red squirrels were also seen.
