Ashby ville is looking the best atm, doesn’t look like much turns up there but guessing that’s because no one sends sightings in, so no one goes ( because there’ll be nothing there) to send sightings in.
fiskerton fen just outside Lincoln was like that, I seemed to be the only one walking round there, 5 wood sandpiper, black necked grebe and most famously lincolnshires 5th whiskered tern soon made it popular

Does Anglian Water's reservoir at Cadney, near Brigg, have any merits? Is it accessible? I can't recall any recent references to it in the Forum.

Also does much turn up at Ashby Ville nature reserve?

Twigmore Woods is a good area to work although you do get a lot of dog walkers etc.

Here's hoping you make the move back, Keith - it will be good to have another pair of eyes on the look-out. My knowledge of the Scunthorpe area is a bit thin, though I did once see an osprey on the move over Scawby.

Hi all,
after a long time away from Lincolnshire, I may be moving back and living in Scunthorpe, so as the title says any sites in and fairly close to there?
not too far out, I’m only cycling I’m not a car owner, I know Messingham isn’t too far away, looking more for a good local patch tbh
