Restarted going to Leeds again as Covid seems to be on the wain. I no longer drive there, since coming out of hospital I have had to abstain from driving for a while so went with Y.A.S. on way there saw nowt, and began to think same was going to happen going home, but was wrong. A few miles from Garforth on the A63 there is a large refuse pit that is being covered with muck, spotted three Red Kite, they made my year
!!

Wont forget July 11th in an hurry all for the wrong reasons ![:( :(]()
On the way there spotted two geese fly over the A! near Ferrybridge, then on the A64 had an hovering Kestrel.
Normally getting to the LGI is easy and traffic light-ish but certainly wasn't this time, it was clogged with traffic, finally got there only to find no where to park, then when I did I had a driver honking the horn accusing me of pushing in, I told them I'd been there 30 minutes, thankfully I was believed and parked up. On arriving at clinic thought it was little to quiet, only to find out the person I'd gone to see was away
someone came after I rang up and apologised, which I accepted but not before saying my peace in a nice way. Thankfully got my expenses and was told the C.O.M. would ring later which he did, he couldn't apologise enough and said he would get to the bottom of why I was not told by letter etc that I wasn't to go. He will organise my next appointment ASAP.
On way home decided to call at Fairburn Ings saw it was heaving so went to car park further down road and had lunch which I shared with a pair of Magpie and three juvs, one Black-head Gull and two Crow, quite a party we had
I obviously didn't share my flask of tea lol. Quite a few dragons flew by and butterflies am not sure either would have liked the corned beef, cheese and marrow chutney brioche rolls though
After leaving joined the old A! and then missed my turn off for the M62, so carried on the A1 and which was chocka, so came off asap and went a way I hadn't been before, luckily had the sat-nav, came via Snaith, when I stopped a chap and said will this road take me to Scunthorpe by a round about way, he laughed and so did I, he said yes but why have yo come this way from Leeds...
Blimey hope for a better trip next time, no wonder I've been stressed out all day (Thursday).
Kind regards
John
