Chinese Redpoll caught in Denmark was created by Phil Hyde
For those who missed this on social media, from Skagen Bird Observatory in Denmark, 24/12/17:Christmas gift from China!???
Today we caught a Mealy Redpoll with a ring from China!!! First time ever a Bird from China gets recaptured in Denmark. We are looking forward to get the information about where and when it was ringed! Not sure why the ring has been removed though.

What a great piece of news and reinforcement of the extent to which this group of birds wander.
Any Lincs ringing news out there ?!
