It is Jacquie but circumstances change.  I can't go into detail but the owners son has moved back home and made changes to the garden that make the siting of mist nets impossible.  Fortunately I have other sites so it won't impact my ringing too much.

So sorry it won't be worth ringing visits, Stuart, must feel sad after twenty years.

I started ringing at a garden feeding station at Kirmond le Mire near Binbrook in 2005.  I have visited the site regularly and have taken quite a few other ringers there who were undergoing their training.  I went to the site earlier this week to find that nearly all the shrubs that provided cover for the nets had been removed!  The couple who live at the property have health issues and we have decided to stop ringing there.  Just out of interest I had a look at the historical records and found that we had ringed in total 10413 birds including 2055 Tree Sparrows, 1582 Blue Tits, 1446 Great Tits, 1159 Goldfinches and 934 Greenfinches.  I don't think there will be any other site in the county that has averaged over 100 Tree Sparrows ringed every year for 20 years!
