Replied by Stuart Britton on topic Lesser Redpolls
This morning I ringed a further 3 Lesser Redpolls at a garden site at Kirmond le Mire. I have only ever ringed 1 other since I started ringing there in 2000! They are obviously on the move.

In two visits to a garden feeder site in Osgodby Woods this month I have ringed 3 Lesser Redpolls, all of which were adult males.  I had only ringed 8 of the species there previously in the past 20 years.  On 22nd January Adrian Slater caught his frirst Lesser Redpoll in his Wyberton garden.  It was already been ringed having previously been captured at Barton Mills, Suffolk in March 2024.
