Goldfinches have become much more common at feeders in the last few years.  In the past three years I have ringed 362 in my Market Rasen garden and re-trapped just 20 - they are constantly passing through.  This morning I caught a female sporting a Belgian ring - she had an obvious brood patch and will be breeding nearby.  I await with interest to see the ringing details.
