Hello Stuart,
I have to be honest I've only been on this section once. On old forum also once. Each out of curiosity.

Not all ringers, Colin.  I will enter more Ringing data on the Forum in future and hope others follow suit!

To be fair we cannot force people to post, and ringers seem to think that their records are for them only.

I get very few sightings records from ringers, however we do get ringing numbers from the BTO but these cannot be added to the Database directly.

I have recently re-joined the LBC after a lapse of 3 years.  There have been no entries in the Ringing section since February 2018!  Today I went to one of my regular feeder sites at Kirmond-le-Mire and caught 29 birds of which 14 were Goldfinches.  I have been ringing there since 2001 because of the number of Tree Sparrows at the site and have ringed over 1000 since then.  As a red Data species it is essential we keep monitoring them - 5 new birds plus a re-trap from 2018 provides valuable information.
I am interested to know whether anyone reads this section - any response would be appreciated.
