I had 3 in my eves for the last couple of years, yet this year they have been absent. Bats are notorious for changing roosts, and often do it a few times a season. It is often due to disturbance, but a lot of times it is to suit their feeding areas.

I have at least 3 small bats in my cottage, I surveyed the old disused church and nearby farmyard with old buildings
West side of Theddlethorpe on 060923 the farm had 4 and church 3 all pippestrelle size bats  seen in flight in failing light.

regards John
