I counted at least 10 active on the ivy flowers mid morning and at least 3 on ivy over my garden wall and adjacent bush.
( plus a variety of other insects )

Hi John

We've had ours again this year and the colony is growing. I counted 58 burrows in the lawn; we have to walk carefully round the outside now!

The first ivy bees I’ve seen this year ,on large stand of flowering ivy near Churchill Lane 180923
