Sept 9 to 14 , just a little fleabane and buddleia flower now but few butterflies , with red ad, small tort, small white, small copper,
common blue and comma . NNR dunes adjacent to garden Pete and bushes and grassfield opposite so a rich plant diversity
and I allow lots of stinging nettles to grow as foodplant for the peacocks, red ads and small torts, and my brassicas look shabby
from the large and small whites caterpillars.
regards John

That’s a lot of butterflies John. In our garden in North Somercotes yesterday we had small and large white, small tortoiseshell, red admiral, speckled wood, common blue, and best of all, brown Argus.
