We've had Common and Holly Blue in our garden this week but disappointingly no Brown Argus this year. What are Brown Argus numbers like on the reserve this year John?

A range of species emerging over recent days but low numbers after the windy wet cold first 12 days of June
speckled wood ( the most numerous) peacock, large and small skippers, meadow brown ,ringlet, common blue.
all in low numbers for the time of year.
also a fresh red admiral in my garden

Looks to be a good season for Wall, I saw 6 while hunting for the Shrike on Saturday. First I've seen for a few years.
