We often have stuff coming in with the logs, usually queen wasps, but the best thing was a Herald moth which we reintroduced back into the wood shed!

My daughter Caroline found a fresh Green-veined White yesterday, 1st March, on her conservatory carpet in her Cleethorpes home, and sent me a pic
of it sitting on the back of her hand. She is puzzled as to how it got there, but I wonder if it could have been brought in with logs from the bottom of her
garden, with the warmth of the room resulting in it emerging. Any thoughts?

Jackie has had honey bees and drone flies, but as yet, disappointingly, no bumble bees in the garden.
