49 species recorded today without much effort.

20 species recorded in or over my garden in Ruskington including a large flock of Pink-Footed Geese that flew NW.
Afternoon visit to Kirkby Gravel Pits produced 26 species, including 4 more flocks of Pink-Footed Geese flying over, totalling about 600 birds. 5 Redshank were also present on the hide pit briefly before flying off.
15 species along the River Witham at dusk including at least 4 Goosander.

Brings my Yearlist up to 72 species, 55 of which I have recorded on my Ruskington/Haverholme patch.
