Anyone want to respond to this appeal from someone who contacted the club earlier today?

A couple of times in November and December of last year on wet and windy days, driving into Mablethorpe and Skegness, I passed several large solitary raptors sitting on fence posts being buffetted by the wind. They seemed much lighter or grey in colour than the buzzards I'm used to seeing here in Nottingham. I would also say they didn't seem to be sitting as upright as I think buzzards often do - but that might have been dues to the weather.

I wondered if they might be a type of harrier?

I'm due to go back to Skegness via Lincoln in the near future and wondered if there is anything we should keep an eye out for as motorist and passenger?

Any suggestions you give will be enthusiastically watched for!

Thank you,

Yours faithfully.
