Highlight or Select What You Want to Copy.

First, select the item you want to copy

If you want to copy some text, highlight it by clicking just before the first letter you want to copy, hold down the mouse button while dragging your mouse to the right, and then releasing after you have selected your text.

Next, in many applications, you'll see at the top of the application window, "Edit" right next to "File". Click Edit to reveal the drop down menu and select Copy. Alternatively right click the mouse button over the highlighted text and select copy.

Okay, now that we've selected the item and copied it into memory, you can paste it somewhere else. In your new forum post right-click in the document and select paste.

At least we got a quick reply from a admin member. Am not sure I know how to paste on to the forum having never done it.

Better still let the Webmaster tell us what the time limit is, then for those who don't know how to paste or not sure they can set an alarm then start writing and get it submitted before the TIME-OUT period pings.

Cheers

Max

Although the web master may be able to extend the time out period, a suggestion would be:

If you anticipate you are about to write a long report or are a slow typist why not draft your report in a word or notepad program first and then copy the completed text and paste it into the forum when ready.

Agreed - it would be helpful if this could be extended.

It's happened to me a few times, is it possible to extend the log in time?
