My first visit of the year to Gibraltar Point to see if I could catch up with the Glaucous Gull resulted in a longer walk than yesterdays at Langford. Lowfields This one was no way as muddy as yesterday thankfully. I did walk to the end of the beach and it was only on the way back that I caught up with the gull feeding on a carcass of a young seal - albeit distantly. Was rewarded by it flying past me on its way to the point. Also found a razorbill close in at low tide and a velvet scoter amongst a small flock of common scoter
