Winters Pond - East Halton

A half hour lunchtime visit to Winters Pond produced Nineteen species. Highlights were:

Lone Whooper Swan
Marsh Harrier
Only two duck species - Mallard >50 Teal approx 12
Small mobile flock moving along hedgerow contained Yellowhammer, Chaffinch, possible Redpoll but too quick to be certain

South Killingholme Haven Lagoon

Very little showing today, only very small numbers of:
Lapwing
Teal
Snipe
Redshank
Mallard
