Out Birding this afternoon and scanning a field in Cleethorpes Country Park just before dusk when a very large dog shot out of surrounding trees aiming for some Muntjac. These took flight immediately with one being seemingly targeted. With the dog gaining on it I saw it go over the boundary wire with the dog in pursuit and disappearing from view. It was a big powerful dog and fast. Dark in colour with distinctive white collar markings on the neck.
There was no visible owner, no recall shouting and no recall whistle
This area is not accessible to the public as it is cattle grazing. If it was just a loose running dog It should have chased the several Pheasant and standing Grey Heron, but it ran right by them.

It may be nothing serious, make your own judgement but anybody birding in Cleethorpes Country Park please be aware and vigilant
