Hi,
A visit to Brickyard Lane this morning provided good views of up to 10 Shore Larks, no Snow Buntings and a large flock (250+) of Linnets and Twite. The flock seemed to be largely Linnets and fed some way out on the saltmarsh. There were quite a number of Twite calling with them, but impossible to count without a photograph to look at later.
Has anyone managed a sensible count of Twite there? I estimate we saw 40+ but very difficult to have any degree of accuracy,
Best
Phil
