Great white egret 1 in pond with grey heron , yellow browed between CL car park and Coastguard cottage( for 13 th day ), swallow 2 se, fieldfare 4 over,
c 750 pink foot goose leaving roost . tawny owl pair calling, se owl 1 over foreshore ( 0700 to 0815 )
MoD base to Crook Bank 0920 to 1230) fieldfare 27, redwing 45, brambling 4, redpoll 3 over, whooper swan 14 sw, water rail 2 screaming .

4 yellow broweds, 6 brambling , 5 siskin , several hundreds of pink foot geese over south and c 450 feeding on Elm house farm

161018 0800 to 0910 hrs.
a small fall of thrushes crests and finches Brickyard lane to Churchill Lane
c70 redwing, and 45 blackbird, c 350 starling over, 6 fieldfare, 1 ring ouzle, c 40 chaffinch and similar number of goldcrests 2 brambling 1 yellow browed warbler,
1 shorelark Rimac foreshore per Peter Roworth,.
a walk from CL along foreshore and back from Rimac through dunes 1600 to 1800, sightings included house martin 5 south, rock pipit 7, jack snipe 2, stonechat 2,
fieldfare 11, marsh harrier 1 f , starling c 700 north,
