Yacht club swallows

60+ swallows perched on wire perimeter fence of Humber Mouth Yacht Club in Humberston at 7.35am, plus 20 on the club roof. Five minutes later they dispersed suddenly to feed over saltmarsh, presumably on insects disturbed by the high tide.
On the beach were 10 pied wagtails.
There were two redshanks and one common sandpiper feeding on the Fitties pools.
Three herons flew overhead.
Also in the vicinity, plenty of starlings and goldfinches, but not many warblers.
Robin numbers seem to have increased over past few days
