Cleethorpes Tern i.d. was created by Nick Coulbeck
This morning I found this Tern by itself on the far tideline. Completely black bill, red legs, no crest and no white forehead. Full black cap that went over to to the nape. Pale bird. Unfortunately, these are the best pictures I could get.
Is it possible this is a Roseate?
