At last shorebird numbers seem to be increasing at high tide roost out from Cleethorpes leisure centre. Grey Plover in superb breeding plumage were particularly conspicuous  yesterday evening. Also on the scene in recent days have been up to 50 terns of various species. Yesterday three calling Greenshank prospected the nearby boating lake from the air but did not settle.
