A party of about 100 Sanderling (and one Dunlin) were roosting on Cleethorpes outer beach at high tide this morning. Other waders included five Curlew and 15 Oystercatchers.

The last of the Brent Geese seem to have gone.

On the edge of the adjacent saltmarsh were a Cuckoo (which flew off to Pleasure Island) and a Wheatear.
