Nice crop of migrants

We were thrilled to see a male Redstart in our garden yesterday. It delighted us for only about 5 minutes and then was off. 

Then this morning went to see a male Whinchat, looking very pleased with himself on fenceposts at Elmhouse Farm reserve. Also present were Wheatear and Swallow. 

Also nice to catch up with 7 or 8 other birders there.
