Still approx 70 Brent Geese tarrying before their long flight north. They were sharing same field this morning with three hares and five Shelduck.

On edge of the the canal were a couple of Dunlin.

Also in vicinity was a Mistle Thrush and two singing Whitethroats (my first of the year).  

I'm still waiting for my first Wheatears and Yellow Wagtails of 2025.

Highlights at Tetney Lock outfall sluice this morning included two Swallows (one singing), 42 Brent Geese (in company of 11 Shelduck) and two detergent-scrutinising Oystercatchers.

There was a hare in a field off South Sea Lane in Humberston.
